  • I am honored to serve this community and have a vested interest in making sure that GGUSD maintains the high quality of education we are known for. I also value visual & performing arts and sports, as they help develop a well-rounded skill set that enhance the ability to balance creative expression with teamwork and discipline.

  • I’m passionate about informing our community that GGUSD offers our students education options that gives them a pathway that prepares them for entrance to a college/university, military service or the workforce. In particular, I’d like to focus on sharing that the old “shop classes” of years past have evolved into 21st Century Career Technical Education (CTE). CTE prepares students for the real world by introducing them to workplace competencies and makes academic content accessible and relevant by applying it in a hands-on collaborative context.
  • Over the last 4 years GGUSD has focused on the expansion of Career Technical Education, Early College Academy and Dual Enrollment.
  • In May of 2024, fifty-one seniors at Los Amigos High School earned their high school diploma and an AA degree from Golden West Community College.
